The TTArtisan 40mm f2 lens is designed for full-frame cameras and features 9 elements in 6 groups. The device features 7 aperture blades and has a close focusing distance of 0.4 meters. The lens is all-metal built, and it is much smaller and faster to focus than Sigma’s 45mm f2.8. The lens can focus really fast, it can be used for live streaming, and the aperture ring gives a satisfying click. The Laowa 90mm f2.8 2x Ultra Macro is perfect for anyone who enjoys portraits and macro photography. A manual focus lens, the lens offers an 8.1-inch minimum focus, a 2:1 macro reproduction ratio, and a lack of chromatic aberrations, purple fringing, and ghosting. Some of the things we enjoyed about the lens include the 2x zoom, the metal build, and the creamy bokeh. In addition, the colors were adorable, and there is a stunning rainbow flare for anyone who doesn’t like sterile images. As we said in our review, “Underexposed, colors are rich with deep greens and overall warmth. Overexposed, you get softer more pastel hues. I like the deep greens and warmth this lens captured when shot with the S5.”
