Today, it is quite challenging to come across a bad camera. Almost all cameras are capable of producing decent photographs, thanks to their autofocus capabilities and low-light quality. However, finding an absolutely perfect camera that meets your demands is challenging. If you’re looking to buy the latter, these devices will certainly help you. Here is a look at the three cameras that won our highest honor.
Nikon z9
The Nikon Z9 features a 45.7MP full-frame sensor and is weather-resistant. It is the first still camera that doesn’t have a physical shutter, the first to feature a shutter over the lens, and the one that offers autofocus detection for vehicles, animals, and humans. There is also 3d tracking, illuminated buttons, 8K video, and 493 phase-detection AF points. It is also the first camera with an electronic shutter that can sync with a flash at any shutter speed. The other things it excels at include high sync speed, a professional feel, and the best autofocus. The camera excels in auto focus detection, and its in-camera cropping feature is also effective. Additionally, it lacks a rolling shutter speed. As we said in our review, “t’s a fantastic camera for photojournalists, wildlife photographers, event photographers, portrait photographers who have precise lighting control, etc. The folks who will love it the most are probably wildlife photographers.”
Sony a1
The Sony a1 features a 50MP full frame sensor, along with BIONZ XR image processor and 8K video recording feature. There is also 759-AF points, 530 shots of battery life, and a 9.44 million view finder. The company also has a 1.44 million dot LCD, alongside human face and eye AF, animal body and eye AF, and a new Birding AF modes. The camera also offers high speed mode of 30fps. As we found in our review, the camera produces images that are rich in details and dynamic range, offer excellent ergonomics, and has an overall fantastic auto focus. There is also no rolling shutter virtually, and its fast Mechanical shutter speed makes it compatible with TTL flashes. As we said earlier, “It’s for photographers who need a no-compromise camera for both stills and video. I can see modern photojournalists, as well as professional sports and wildlife photographers reaching for this camera.”
Fujifilm GFX100S

The Fujifilm GFX100S is a medium-format camera with a 102MP sensor and X processor 4. It can record 4K videos at 30fps, 5fps of buray rate, and has in body image stabilization. You also get 6 stops of in-body image stabilization with GFX lens. The camera has 400MP multiple shot mode, weather resistance, and various features from X-T4 and GFX100. The medium format camera comes with a great build, weather sealing and excellent image stabilization. There is also good auto focus, more details in images, and good performance up to ISO 6400. The film filters are great and the grip of the camera is worth admiring. As we wrote, “The Fujifilm GFX100S is the culmination of many years worth of work from Fujifilm. The GFX50S and the 50R paved the way for mainstream Medium Format cameras. The GFX100 took things up notch or ten by introducing the 102 Megapixel sensor. Now, the GFX100S crams all of the best parts from each of those cameras into one easy manage camera.”
