The passing of Ratan Tata, one of India’s most revered industrialists, on October 9 at the age of 86, left many in shock. Tata, the former chairperson of Tata Group, passed away at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. To honour his memory, Aishwarya Bakeries, a Tamil Nadu-based bakery, has created a 7-foot-tall cake sculpture depicting Tata with his beloved dog. The cake, made for the bakery’s annual Christmas and New Year celebrations, shows Tata in a blue shirt and grey pants, smiling while shaking hands with his German Shepherd dog, Tito, who holds a ball in its mouth. Crafted from 60 kg of sugar and 250 eggs, the statue symbolizes Tata’s love for animals, particularly his pets. The stunning cake sculpture has drawn large crowds, with people posing and taking pictures outside the bakery.
