Among the most challenging yet rewarding paths you can take as an adventurous photographer is landscape photography. Some locations will require you to be thoroughly prepared for each expedition. Others will truly test your thirst for adventure, like the remote location that Thomas Heaton traveled to a few years back.
In the video above, the UK-based landscape photographer shared what went down during his expedition to the Hornstrandir Nature reserve. This location in the far north of Iceland hardly gets visitors, save from intrepid travelers and photographers like himself.
Among the travelers he joined were wildlife photographers who wanted to see and photograph arctic foxes. So, Heaton himself did get a couple of snaps of the elusive arctic foxes, using a Nikon Z7 II and a 600mm f/4 with a built-in 1.4 teleconverter.
