Concertgoers looking for outfit inspiration can take a page from Khushi Kapoor’s closet. For Lollapalooza 2025, the actor wore a borderie-anglaise-inspired lace jacket and skirt with floral appliqué from New York-based AKNVAS, helmed by Danish designer Christian Juul Nielsen.

Kapoor’s fit for the concert is reminiscent of the period between 2012 and 2016 when festival fashion, especially at Coachella, attained its peak. Think an overdose of lace, withered graphic T-shirts as dresses over fishnets and Dr. Martens, jorts with tiny crop-tops and unkempt hair with loose braids sported by celebrities like Gigi Hadid, Vanessa Hudgens, Zoe Kravitz, and Kendall Jenner.

With the revival and resurgence of Boho-chic (thanks to Chemena Kamali at Chloé), Kapoor’s festival outfit feels like a subtle throwback to eclectic yet laid-back sartorial periods. The use of floral appliqué alludes to easygoing looks while not taking your clothes too seriously. Kapoor opted for a matching lace bralette, pair of chunky boots, a delicate choker and a body chain from Tara Fine Jewellery.
