Bhumi Pednekar and Tamannaah Bhatia opted for earthy and coral hues in the best beauty looks of the week

With summer in full swing, one might expect a wave of bright and candy-hued beauty looks to take over. Yet, Bollywood stars seem to be favouring a more understated approach, embracing a mix of brown and coral tones that strike the perfect balance between definition and effortlessness, minimal glam. This shift towards soft, earthy glamour proves that sometimes, less really is more.

Take Sharvari Wagh, for instance, who opted for a neutral-toned beauty look to complement her androgynous fit from 431-88. A blend of taupe shadow with warm coral undertones subtly enhanced her features, while a barely-there wing added just enough definition to her eyes. Makeup artist Stacy Gomes kept her base lightweight and breathable, ensuring her natural skin texture shone through. A soft coral lip completed the look, mirroring her natural lip tone for a seamless, polished effect.

Tara Sutaria, on the other hand, leaned into ultra-feminine glamour, pairing her gajra-adorned sleek bun with fresh, coral-hued makeup. Brown liner along both lash lines accentuated her honey-hued eyes, while a generous flush of rose-pink blush brought warmth to her face. A glossy coral lip added a touch of softness, making her look equal parts radiant and romantic.

Similarly, Khushi Kapoor’s makeup artist, Sushmita Vankar, played with complementary tones to highlight the actor’s features. While some opted for softer hues, Tamannaah Bhatia and Bhumi Pednekar weren’t afraid to experiment with bolder, well-defined shades. Bhatia balanced the drama of her ruffled Gauri & Nainika top with a structured lip—opting for a deep coral shade blended out at the centre for a subtle gradient effect. Her eyes featured a metallic coral shadow, with a touch of highlighter at the tear duct to brighten her face even further. Pednekar, meanwhile, reimagined her signature smoky eye in more approachable tones. Brown shadow, a thin metallic wing, and lots of bronzer gave her a sultry yet wearable look, finished off with a coral-pink lip tint for a fresh pop of colour.
