Sony has always been top for travel photography, and the a7c II showcases why. It features a 33MP sensor, has ISO between 50-204,800, and 4k/30p video recording. It also features 759 on-sensor phase-detection points, and autofocus tracking features, amongst many other things. Speaking about its performance, we said, “While the a7c II isn’t as high priced as other models, it’s a very versatile camera that can easily go from portraits to action. The images are detailed and colorful, with a decent amount of flexibility in post.”
Panasonic S9
The Panasonic S9 is a small, powerful camera that houses a 24.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor, real-time LUT, and 6.5 stops of image stabilization. Some of its other features include 30 fps pre-burst shooting, crop zoom, autofocus detection for human, animal, car, and motorcycle subjects, and time-lapse and stop-motion animation video recording modes. Some of the things we liked about the camera are that its performance is similar to Lumix S5 II, it has great ergonomics, excellent autofocus, and has a great high ISO output. However, the camera lacks weather resistance. As we said in our review, “For $1,499, the Panasonic Lumix S9 is at a pretty great price point when you consider the stylish looks and the fact that it can more or less replace your Fujifilm cameras when using the Real Time LUT features.”
