Dept. Q (May 29)

Dive into the shadows of Edinburgh’s unsolved crimes with Matthew Goode in the lead as DCI Carl Morck, a brilliant detective with a reputation for being a terrible colleague. After a tragic shooting leaves one officer dead and another paralysed, Morck is exiled to the basement to helm Department Q, a newly formed cold case unit designed more as a PR stunt than a functional team. However, Morck’s relentless drive and razor-sharp sarcasm breathe life into the unit, assembling a team of misfits who begin to unravel a long-dormant missing person case that threatens to shake the establishment. Adapted from Jussi Adler-Olsen’s bestselling Danish novels, this nine-part series is brought to life by Scott Frank, creator of The Queen’s Gambit, and also features Kelly Macdonald, Chloe Pirrie and Mark Bonnar.
