The lens features 17 elements in 11 groups, 11 rounded blades, and a 1:2 magnification ratio. It also has 0.5x magnification, a 77 mm filter size, and 790g. There are also 2 ED, 1 UED, and 1 UHR glass elements. The 100-400mm is a macro-capable telephoto zoom for Micro 4/3 cameras. The lens features a 4.3-foot minimum focusing distance and 0.5x-equivalent maximum magnification. It is 200-800mm equivalent on a full frame and is composed of one aspherical lens, two extra-low dispersion lenses, and one ultra extra-low dispersion. There is optical image stabilization, on-body Zoom Limit Switch, and it ,comes with a rounded nine-blade diaphragm.
